Rays Institutions

Located in the midst of a lush green belt on Vasanthpura Main Road, off Kanakapura Road, Rays is a prestigious institution in Bengaluru. Comprising Rays Montessori HOC for pre-primary level and RAFL - Rays Academy for Learning at Primary and Secondary level of Education, the institutions strive for academic excellence at each stage.
Throughout, we firmly believe all students must be recognised as individuals in their own right, and be granted the opportunity to evolve personally and academically in a supportive environment.
Rays Montessori HOC, a unique Montessori House of Children, works with young minds of 2 to 6 years. The aim is to encourage the development of the child as a whole by providing a comprehensive Montessori education, cultivating independence, and foundational skills as well as awareness of their environment and empathy towards others.
The complete support of our parents and children, has led to our continuous service in the field of education with the inception of RAFL – Rays Academy For Learning. We believe that elementary and secondary education fosters the next generation of leaders, innovators, and thinkers as our nation’s future depends on the youngsters of today. At RAFL, in addition to striving for excellence in Academics, the school also seeks to impart a strong sense of personal integrity and fundamental values to the students.
Rays Institutions, founded by visionary educators, is one of the top schools in South Bangalore, providing a world-class education for your child’s success. Our exceptional facilitators, innovative programs, and nurturing environment make us the top school in South Bangalore. Give your child the gift of an outstanding education at Rays Institutions.
We have come a long way since our inception in 2012 and the journey has been one of concerted efforts, growth and expansion. By holding on to our roots and letting them be our guide, we have continued along this path with the same dedication and integrity with which we began, molding children to be humans first.

Rays Institutions is managed by Sri Krishna Indira Educational and Charitable Trust.

Meet our founder Director and Chairperson

Harshitha Krishna

Following the motto, “Some are born to spread their wings and others to spread their roots”, Harshitha Krishna strives to continue the legacy of selfless compassion and generosity in the landscape of today’s education. The institution’s approach to education has been unconventional — prioritising values over worth, thinking over studying, developing inner strength over materialism.

Harshitha Krishna is a strong believer of the Gurukula system of education that was practiced in ancient India that fostered veneration, devotion, and integrity – being a system that went beyond teaching and learning of worldly knowledge, it realised the very basics of human sustenance by exercising compassion, kindness, and love — all shared by the pupils unconditionally among themselves and with their guru. And these are the very values she has strived to inculcate in the education we provide at Rays Institutions.

Our purpose here exceeds mere academics as we regard humanitarian values, self-worth, self-confidence, and self-improvement to be a vital part of the education that makes a human being committed to their community and country. At RAYS INSTITUTIONS, we believe a human soul should be imbued with education, emotion and spirituality to help them become socially responsible human beings and it is this that guides the ethos of the institution.
“When the root is deep, there is no reason to fear the wind.” It is indeed the roots that hold us in place and give us the strength to be relentless in our mission and not the leaves that change every season, the flowers that bloom and blow, the fruits that are plucked, the branches that break.

“The greatest gifts we can give our children are the roots of Responsibility and the wings of Independence.”

The child looks for his independence first not because he does not desire to be dependent on the adult. But because he has in himself some fire, some urge, to do things. Children acquire knowledge through experience, the hand is the instrument of intelligence.

The greatest gifts we can give our children are the roots of Responsibility and the wings of Independence.

Rays Montessori is an authentic, child centred school . At Rays we provide a beautiful, meticulously prepared environment for children of age 2 years to 6 years. Our children at Rays Montessori are our strength and inspiration. They learn by doing more than just listening . We provide education that enhances child’s early development.
